The purpose of this scheme is to provides Creche and Day Care Services for women belonging to poor families, who require support and relief for childcare within and outside the home.

The applications are evaluated at the beginning of the financial year.

The beneficiaries of this Project are women and children

Ideally, the number of children in each creche should not be more than 25. The type of grant (recurring or non-recurring determines the grant amount ceiling). For recurring, it can be of the range of 1.5 L every year. For non-recurring, there can be one time grant-in-aid of INR 1 cr.
