About The Grant

State Bank of India Foundation accepts applications from organisations around the year to support them in specific projects if it is alignment with the 6 focus areas of the Foundation. These include  Healthcare and Sanitation, Education. Skills and Livelihood Development, Women Empowerment and Care for Senior Citizens, Sustainability & Environment and Rural Development. The organisations which satisfy the eligibility criteria can submit their request and the selection committee of the Foundation will select the projects they choose to partner with and provide support for.

Timeline

The submission form is available throughout the year on the website and there is no specific deadline as such. Applicants will receive a response from the SBI Foundation within 30 days.

Eligibility Criteria

The supported NGOs must follow certain criteria like:

  1. Certify tax-exempt status under 12 AA, Section 80(G) and/or 35 A ( C ) and/or FCRA of the Indian Income Tax Act, 1965
  2. Submit Assets and Liabilities statements of all its Directors/ Trustees   Download Assets and Liabilities
  3. Have a track record of a minimum of 3 years of service.
  4. Have executed similar projects in the past
  5. Not discriminate on the basis of race, colour, religion, sex, national origin, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, genetic information, citizenship, veteran or marital status, or any other basis prohibited by law
