The objective underlying this scheme is to develop an ideal environment for children with special needs where they can learn communication and other skills resulting in skill development,income generation or integration in regular institutions of learning and society in general.

The applications are evaluated at the beginning of the financial year.

The beneficiaries include children with special needs and disabled children.

The grant ceiling is decided on the type of scheme and type of applicant organization.
