There are no fixed submission deadlines for a letter of intent. A letter of intent can be submitted anytime during the year. The evaluation takes place once in April and then in September.
The focus areas are agriculture, food & nutrition, public health and Social Sciences.
Depending on the type of grant the award amount varies from up to 20’000 USD to up to 100’000 USD per year for a maximum of 3 years.
Individuals as well as NGOs.

The Nestlé Foundation for the Study of Problems of Nutrition in the World was established in 1966 by a donation by the Nestlé Company on the occasion of its centenary. The Foundation is independent and self-constituting and is managed by a Council. The Foundation is and has been financially and operationally independent of the Nestlé Company since its inception. The offices of the Nestlé Foundation are in Lausanne, Switzerland.
