The purpose of this scheme is to provide financial assistance for buying computers, scanner, specialized software, special keyboard/access technology for disabled people.

The applications are evaluated in every quarter of the financial year.

To improve the technical skills of the disabled persons.

Computers of appropriate configuration as per requirement can be provided under this project. Grant for computers is also an admissible component under various other projects under this scheme. A total honorarium of INR 1 L can be awarded in this grant.
