The 1080W is the world’s first integrated, plug-and-play system that combines shading, clean water and intelligent lighting with great design. Provides shade during the day, lights up at night & saves rain water during the rains.
The 1080W unit collects and filters rainwater through in-line physical membrane to reduce TSS and large organic matter. An underground plumbing network connects to the outlet of the 1080W which enables groundwater recharge or storage in existing tanks. Standard, easy to build foundation details are provided with the product. Intelligent controls provide automatic soft lighting from dusk-to-dawn with efficient solar powered LED lights. A transparent window in the mast allows you to experience rainwater harvesting, up-close.
The PVDF-coated technical textile which forms the canopy is inherently dust repellent. If it does appear dusty, it can be hosed down with water to clean. The top mesh prevents twigs, leaves and other larger organic material from entering the mast and tends to require very little cleaning. The solar panel has been designed to function in sub-optimal conditions, thereby reducing the frequency of cleaning of the panel. The stainless steel filter component can be accessed through an opening at the base of the central mast and cleaned with water. Cleaning is recommended when seasons change, to ensure smooth flow of rainwater through the filter.
