The combustor anchors a distributed, decentralized system for local waste processing, recycling and residual waste disposal for small cities (under 200,000). It delivers waste reduction (25,000 tons/year), high recycling results (up to 80%), create energy, healthier waste-free environments and offers real productivity impact.

Most valueless waste in small cities in India is openly burned or sent to unsanitary garbage dumps. Simply put, these local areas cannot afford modern expensive waste management systems and modern landfills, nor do they have the waste volume to justify them. The Combustor is a disruptive technology for waste disposal. It is an ultra-high temperature mobile combustor capable of being configured to destroy combustible Materials - most solid waste that can burn with lower than 30-35% moisture content.
The mobile combustor (self-fueling, minimal ash) anchors and makes possible the cost-effective deployment of locally-run small-scale waste processing, recycling and disposal facilities (Starter MRF or SMRF) in small cities (under 200,000). SMRFs will employ people and equipment to filter out organic waste for composting/reuse, sort out valuable inorganic recyclables, and send leftover inorganic “valueless waste” into the combustor where it is destroyed. Hot “exhaust heat” and electricity(optional) is produced as the output. Waste enters but never leaves. In essence, the SMRF and combustor act as a landfill substitute. Each SMRF, tailored to handle the local waste streams, would process, recycle and dispose of a local area’s municipal waste, replacing the current practice of open burning and sending waste to the nearest unsanitary garbage dump. In sum, with multiple SMRFs operating, an entire area transforms from "waste-everywhere" to "waste-free" as streets continually cleared of waste, roadside piles removed, too.
