Automated electronic toilet is a modular, pre-fabricated public toilet made of steel and is integrated with user-friendly electronic interfaces, to ensure cleanliness and hygiene.
Automated e-Toilet is a self-cleaning toilet, with the outer structure made of steel. It is integrated with GPRS technology, through which it can be monitored and its operational status can be tracked over web. GPRS tracks frequency of usage, water and electricity consumption. This toilet incorporates full-cycle approach in sustainable sanitation by integrating electrical, mechanical and web-mobile technologies. It has efficient cleaning system by auto-flush i.e toilet itself flushes before and after use, using minimum amount of water predetermined by the sensor. In conventional toilets each flush uses 8-10 litres of water, whereas e-Toilet on average uses 1.5 litres of water. It has unmanned cleaning with auto-floor cleaning sytem, floor is automatically cleaned after every tenth use and it can also be done manually by pressing auto-floor clean button inside the toilet cabin. It is easy to install and power efficient. The light is automatically turned on by the sensors, when the user is inside the toilet and is switched off when user steps out of toilet. Unmanned operations by coin operated entry. No regular manual cleaning or maintenance is required as waste treatment is done onsite using anaerobic bio degradation.
With India, gearing up to achieve the objectives of “Clean India campaign” it is inevitable that a proven self-sustained model is available in India to address the ensuing demand. Automated e-Toilet is a solution to drive a revolution for adopting futuristic self-sustaining and resource generating sanitation infrastructure for the common man. Apart from lack of toilets, their maintenance also poses a major challenge. A large majority of people do not use public toilet due to its unhygienic and unclean condition. Automated e-Toilet with auto flush and floor cleaning provide solution to this problem. Eram Scientific Solution is the innovator of India's first electronic toilets.
The initiative of automated e-Toilet could make significant impact on the public sanitation landscape with large scale scope of reducing open defecation in India.
The automated system, do away with a large portion of manual cleaning and hence, it provides touch-free cleaning solution and maintain sense of dignity for manual scavengers.
e-Toilet is a self-sustaining model. It has less operational cost than conventional toilets as there is less dependence on guards and cleaners with technology intervention.
