Driptech’s drip irrigation solutions are highly economical compared to the traditional drip irrigation systems, energy efficient, almost maintenance free and user friendly, and backed by customised design and technical support for the farmers. This has been made possible through product innovation and new break-through technology of ‘Laser-Punched Dripline’.
Driptech’s drip irrigation solutions based on ‘Laser Punched Dripline’ technology are 50% cheaper than the traditional drip irrigation system. Apart from being economical, they run on ultra-low pressure (0.1 -0.2 kg/cm2 as against 1 kg /cm2 for the traditional ones) and so requires pump of lower HP and also consumes less electricity which adds to the saving in investment as well as running cost.
Drippers used in the traditional driplines are prone to clogging due to contamination of tiny particles in water. In the laser punched dripline, drippers have been replaced with pinholes made with high precision laser machine which rarely get clogged thus making it virtually maintenance free.
Though drip irrigation technology pays back the investment within one or two seasons in average, adoption is still very low in India and the developing countries mostly due to the requirement of high initial invest and running cost. The ‘clogging menace’ is another deterrent. ‘Laser Punched Dripline’ overcomes all these.
